Frank Hernandez (Ш) is a Mexican philosopher and journalist based in the Czech Republic.

Frank Hernandez (Ш) was born and grew up in Ciudad Juarez, on the Mexican side of the Texas border. They earned a degree in philosophy and multimedia journalism from the University of Texas at El Paso. They later pursued a Master’s in Philosophy at the Central European University in Austria and are currently writing a dissertation on the normativity of the concept of 'progress' at Charles University in Prague.
Their research primarily focuses on the philosophy of progress. They also have some expertise in epistemic injustice, existentialist ethics, Marxist critique and social theory, normative theory, and philosophy of language. Their broader intellectual interests include indigenous philosophies, mysticism and spirituality, the philosophy of memory and trauma, the philosophy of sex and sexuality, political phenomenology and poetics.
Beyond academia, they co-founded a community center in Prague that promotes collectivism, fosters political activism, and serves as a hub for alternative academic and artistic spaces. Their commitment to intellectual and social engagement extends internationally, having presented their work at conferences and workshops hosted by institutions across Texas, Wisconsin, New York, Michigan, the Philippines, the Australasian region, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, the Netherlands, the UK, and the Czech Republic.
