Norani Abu Bakar is the Chairperson of the Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) Greater Kuala Lumpur, hosted by UCSI University and acknowledged by the United Nations University. She currently leads efforts to expand the Yale Life Worth Living course across three universities in Kuala Lumpur.

Norani is also the Founder of The Blue Ribbon Global, which cultivates community-based sustainability and environmental education. Her forest garden training connects participants with nature, facilitating reflection in their pursuit of the good life.

A Yale graduate and former Fellow, Norani earned her PhD in Social Science from the Universiti Malaya. She previously worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Siemens, Germany, and founded Home Sweet Home (Shanghai), a social enterprise supporting the unsheltered and physically challenged.
