Dylan S. Bailey is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the University of South Florida’s Religious Studies Department.
Dylan S. Bailey is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the University of South Florida’s Religious Studies Department. He earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from Fordham University in 2023. In addition, he holds an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of South Florida and an M.A. in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary. His research occurs at the intersection of epistemology, pedagogy, and human flourishing, focusing on how different forms of understanding contribute to a life worth living, and how pedagogy can be used to produce these forms of understanding. With an Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Ethics and experience teaching courses in biomedical ethics, he is also interested in the connection between the life worth living and the professions. His work has appeared in Epoché, The International Journal of Philosophy and Theology, and Journal for Continental Philosophy of Religion.
