Alana Felton is a PhD Candidate in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Yale University writing a dissertation on contemporary Belarusian culture. She also tutors college students in writing.

Alana Felton is a PhD Candidate in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Yale University writing a dissertation on contemporary Belarusian culture. She also works as a writing tutor to Yale undergraduates and has experience working in academic publishing. In 2018-19, she worked as a Fulbright ETA in Viciebsk, Belarus after graduating with a BA in Slavic Studies from Brown University. Although born in rural Central Pennsylvania, Alana has spent significant time in New England, Eastern Europe, and California. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, birding, taking barre classes, eating pretzels, and hanging out with her husband and cats.
