Ari is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Cambridge, with interests in the intersection of three areas: epistemology, ethics and AI.
His work asks questions of how the rationality of beliefs intersect with our moral interests, and how these considerations are complicated by the changing ways in which we interact with technology.
Among the topics he addresses include the following: how increasing capabilities of AIs to persuade effects the rationality of our beliefs; whether we might wrong others through our beliefs alone; whether there is a distinctly ethical basis to the system of rationality for beliefs; whether it is a mistake to apply human normative concepts to AIs.
