Life Worth Living in the Age of AI

Doane University

Course Description:

As AI transforms how we work, create, live, and connect, fundamental questions become more urgent: What remains irreducibly human? How do we find meaning and purpose when AI can mimic many human capabilities? Perhaps the most pressing question, both urgent and ancient, is “What is worth wanting?” Through experiential learning, honest dialogue, and philosophical, theological, and contemporary texts, you will develop your responses to what makes life worthy of the shared humanity we are all part of in the time we are on this earth.
